The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, successfully hosted the 13th Basic Stream Short Course on Strategic Leadership, Ethics, and Policy Making (SLEAPM) from February 23 to 28, 2025. The intensive one-week training brought together professionals from various government parastatals, equipping them with advanced leadership perspectives and ethical decision-making frameworks critical to their roles in governance and policy implementation.
The program featured in-depth sessions on strategic leadership, public ethics, and policy formulation, fostering a multidisciplinary exchange of ideas among senior government officials. Participants were drawn from key sectors, underscoring the commitment of the government to strengthening institutional leadership and governance efficiency.
Among the distinguished participants were:
ACP Olabisi Okuwobi, National Coordinator Police Campaign against cultism and other vices (Pocacov) and who was elected as Public Relations Officer of the course.
Deputy Director Al-habib Usman, Presidency Internal Security who was elected as the President of the Course.

Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Chief Dr. Bisi Idaomi, who was elected as the Vice President of the Course
