In a proactive, intelligence-led operation, the Lagos State Police Command on November 2, 2026, at about 8:15 a.m., uncovered a high-tech indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa.

The facility, equipped for cultivation, harvesting and processing of suspected cannabis, was discovered following credible information from the public. Two occupants, Thomas Razvickas, 49, a Polish national, and James Chisome, 36, were arrested and have made confessional statements.

Commissioner of Police CP Tijani Fatai visited the scene to assess the operation, praised the operatives for effective policing and restated the Command’s commitment to combating drug offences and dismantling criminal networks, while appreciating public cooperation.
