Command Day Secondary School (CDSS) Ikeja has emerged as the overall winner of the 81 Division Inter-Command Secondary Schools Sports Competition 2026, held from February 10-12, 2026, at the General Tukur Yusuf Buratai Sports Complex, Lagos.
The school’s victory is a testament to their exceptional performance, discipline, and resilience, beating out five other Command schools. Major General Adebayo Babalola, represented by Brigadier General Ayokunle Owolabi, praised the students for showcasing remarkable strength and spirit.
The competition instilled discipline, resilience, and leadership qualities among the students, said Colonel Olatoke Olubo, Director 81 Division Education Services. The final standings saw CDSS Ikeja top the list, followed by Command Secondary School Ojo, CDSS Oshodi, Command Secondary School Lagos, and CDSS Bonny Cantonment.
Senior officers commended the students’ efforts, encouraging them to apply the lessons of perseverance and determination to their future endeavors.
