The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adebayo Babalola, has reaffirmed the Division’s commitment to supporting the Nigerian Army Intelligence School (NAIS).
This assurance was given during a courtesy visit by NAIS Commandant, Brigadier General D Umaru, to the Division Headquarters in Lagos on February 12, 2026. The GOC emphasized the importance of intelligence in military operations and sought NAIS’s support in providing timely information to enhance security.
Brigadier General Umaru appreciated the warm reception and highlighted the strategic importance of 81 Division, congratulating the GOC on his appointment. The visit included souvenir presentations, signing of the Visitors’ Book, and a group photograph.
