In 1998, Mind Builders School began with 18 pupils and 6 teachers inside a duplex at Omole Phase 1, Lagos. Today it’s one of Nigeria’s most respected private schools, driven by founder Mrs. Bolajoko Falore’s motto “Building Your Child for Tomorrow’s Challenges.” The multi-campus institution now has about 450 students, 128 staff, 48 classrooms, and over 15 specialised labs and studios for science, ICT, arts, and sports. Mrs. Falore also reserved 12 rooms for a future Teachers’ Training School to improve educator standards nationwide.
Trustees of Mind Builders Education Trust will host the maiden Annual Symposium on June 20, 2026, at the school hall in Ikeja CBD, Alausa, to mark Mrs. Falore’s 70th birthday and 50 years in education. UBA Group CEO Oliver Alawuba will deliver the keynote, with former University of Ibadan VC Prof. Idowu Olayinka as Guest Speaker. The gathering will bring together leaders from academia, government, and business to discuss educational excellence, leadership, and sustainability – themes that have shaped both Mrs. Falore’s career and the school’s growth.
The school’s legacy is seen in its alumni and impact beyond the classroom. Through sponsored international training trips between 1999 and 2015, teachers adopted global best practices, producing first-class graduates from top universities in Nigeria, Europe, and North America. Former staff now run schools in Nigeria, Canada, the UK, and the US, while the school continues scholarship support for indigent students and public school projects. With Mrs. Falore’s roles in NAPPS, APEN, and OMEP, Mind Builders has become a benchmark for private education, showing what vision, discipline, and consistency can achieve.
