Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved the appointment of CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu as the new Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force. The appointment is with immediate effect as part of ongoing reforms to improve policing and public engagement.
CSP Iniedu hails from Etinan LGA, Akwa Ibom State and holds a http://B.Sc. in Pure Chemistry from the University of Uyo. He brings years of experience in public communication, intelligence, operations, and accountability. Prior to this role, he headed the Complaint Response Unit at Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he managed public complaints and promoted transparency. He also served as PRO of the Police College of Information Technology, Kobape, Ogun State.
He has previously served as Operations Officer in Maisandari Division, Yobe; Area Crime Officer in Umuahia, Abia; Staff Officer in the IGP Secretariat; Second-in-Command, 50 Police Mobile Force Squadron, Kubwa; and Officer-in-Charge of the Force Headquarters Situation Room.
