The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed an abduction incident at a private hostel in Ipara on the night of Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
According to the Command, a distress report was received and an immediate coordinated response was activated with other security agencies. Tactical teams and intelligence assets have since been deployed to the area, with rescue operations ongoing to secure the safe release of the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
The Police are appealing to parents, students and the general public to remain calm and avoid spreading misinformation that could hinder ongoing efforts.
