LAGOS — Lagos Deputy Governor and APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has charged party members to anchor the 2027 campaign on verifiable records of the Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu administrations.
Speaking Friday at the inauguration of the APC Lagos Campaign Council at Acme, Ogba, Hamzat said, “It is not about emotion. It is about data. It’s about records,” urging members to confidently showcase reforms in tax, infrastructure, agriculture and security, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, as evidence of long-term economic commitment. He described Lagos as critical to Nigeria’s GDP and called for sustained grassroots mobilisation to translate support into votes.
Earlier, Lagos APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi said the party would adopt a decentralised strategy targeting 13,565 polling units under “Operation Man Your Polling Booth,” with a target of five million votes. Director General of the PBAT/KOH 2027 Campaign Council, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, urged unity and discipline, warning members to set aside personal grievances and work as one team for the defining election.
