Commissioner of Police, Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, on Monday honoured 39 officers, including 5 retired personnel, for meritorious service.
The awards ceremony at Officers’ Mess, Ibara, Abeokuta, recognised retired officers CSP Salami Akanbi, DSP Olaifa Emmanuel, DSP Ayanlola Olatunji, DST Saanu John and DST Anifa Bello, alongside 34 serving officers like SP Shittu Bamidele and SP Gbenga Ayodele.
Ojajuni said the gesture was to reward dedication and encourage excellence, noting that honouring retirees preserves institutional memory and strengthens bonds within the Force.
