Lagos Deputy Governor and APC governorship candidate, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has pledged to introduce an “HAMZAT Compact” containing 100 specific, measurable commitments to allow residents track and hold his administration accountable if elected.

Speaking Thursday at a Platform Nigeria town hall themed “Millennium and Gen Z Meet Their Lagos Gubernatorial Candidates”, Hamzat said the compact, part of his manifesto “The Promise: Building a State That Lasts”, will state what will be done, where, at what cost and who is responsible.

He also promised a Child Welfare Administration Agency within 100 days to ensure every child under 18 is in school or vocational training, a State Economic Council to cut multiple levies and ease of doing business, improved mobility to cut commute times, and an inclusive government that protects all residents who live and work peacefully in Lagos.
