Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has pledged the State Government’s continued partnership with stakeholders in the creative industry through skills development, training and infrastructure support. Speaking Tuesday at the commissioning of Euphoria360 Hub established by thespian Femi Adebayo in Oregun, Hamzat said the government is determined to build a sustainable pipeline of creative professionals who can compete and earn globally.

According to Hamzat, Lagos has no shortage of talent but needs the right structures to harness it. He said the state is investing in creative infrastructure, including theatres in Ikorodu, Badagry and other divisions, and is exploring training for up to one million Lagosians in filmmaking, acting, photography and other disciplines. He challenged industry elders to identify barriers to growth and collaborate with government on solutions, particularly around intellectual property, contracts and skills.

In his goodwill message, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Mr. Sunday Dare, described the entertainment industry as a powerful force boosting Nigeria’s global influence and revenue generation. Earlier, Euphoria360 CEO, Mr. Femi Adebayo, said the hub was conceived as a one-stop destination where producers, filmmakers and creators can access facilities and services to deliver world-class projects.
