Through targeted interventions carried out through Corporate Social Responsibility, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has given religious groups the mandate to enhance the quality of life for persons dwelling in and around their domains of influence (CSR).
Mallam Abubakar Ibrahim, the mandate secretary for the Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat (ARDS), made this statement at the commissioning and transfer of a borehole to Kado village that the Church of Christ, Kado, Lifecamp built and donated in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

Ibrahim said the initiative ought to be imitated by others in society and called it a noble endeavor that exemplifies unconditional love for humanity.
Ibrahim who was represented by a Director in the Secretariat, Mrs. Anne Ijeoma, noted that the government cannot carry a whole load of meeting the needs of the people on its head alone, as there has to be intervention from others.
According to him: “Your relationship (with the host community) is very important. And if you don’t have a good relationship with people around you, there is no amount of preaching you will do, that they will listen to you.

“Christianity is all about love, if there is no love, I’m sure this project will not be here today. The people of Kado have shown love to the Church of Christ, and that is why to let them know that the Church appreciates their love, by providing the water project”.
