Building towards a greater nation through national development especially in the area of uplifting and support, the initiative of the Customs Officers Wives Association (COWA) by the wife of the comptroller general of Customs,Mrs. Hamidi Ibrahim Ali, has been highly commended by the wife of the Seme area command boss, Mrs. Chinelo Dera-Nnadi.

This was shown by the COWA delegates, at a visit to the Seme area command. At the interactive session, a donation of 30 solar street lights to light up the Seme customs barracks was made by the group. Also, the century gate was unveiled and to cap off the ceremony,a tree planting session was held at the barracks.

The major event was a surprise visit to the Atinuke Orphanage Home and the Badagry General Hospital to give gifts of cash, drugs, and groceries to the less privileged and show support to children especially for the celebration of Children’s day.

Mrs Dera-Nnadi urged her fellow COWA members to spread goodwill and make positive impact in the communities around them as their own way towards nation building and patriotism.
