The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Samuel E. Erale, has paid a courtesy visit to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori at Government House, Asaba.
Erale, who was accompanied by his management team, said the visit was to formally introduce himself and reaffirm the Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property. He promised intelligence-led, technology-driven and community-centred policing, stressing that professionalism and discipline would define his tenure. He also conveyed the regards of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu.
Governor Oborevwori congratulated Erale on his posting, describing it as timely, and charged the police to intensify the fight against crime. He emphasised that no one is above the law, directing that anyone involved in criminality, regardless of status, should face the law, while assuring the CP of government support.
