Residents of Zamfara State have accused both the federal and state governments of politicising their lives by allowing kidnappers and bandits to operate freely in their communities, according to reports.
Citizens bemoaned the state’s growing insecurity, claiming that they were imprisoned in their own homes as a result of bandit terrorists’ activities.

According to them, the governments refused to put a stop to banditry in the state for reasons best known to them.

Speaking on behalf of the residents of the Dansadau axis, Mansur Dansadau told the Daily Post that if the government does not act now, voter turnout in the state will be close to zero in the upcoming 2023 elections.
