At least two people have been killed and the Arum Inyi Police Division in Enugu State’s Oji-River Local Government Area has been attacked by gunmen, who also set the station on fire.
In the terrible occurrence that occurred early on Sunday, it was learned that the gunmen also hauled away weapons and ammo.
No election, police in Biafra territory, the gunmen allegedly chanted as they attacked the building.
The police college, where new hires are trained and sent out to serve, is also located in Oji River.

Two young men’s dead were found by the station’s outer fence and a burning police station was also visible in the viral footage.
The two fatalities were identified as cops by some people in the background of the film, although another person claimed he could only recognize one of them as a policeman working for the station.
Although the police authorities are yet to confirm the incident, a resident of the area said the attack happened on Sunday.
Efforts to reach the Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe at the time of this filing of this report proved abortive.
Gunmen have been attacking security formations in Enugu and other South-Eastern states.
Barely three weeks ago, gunmen attacked an army checkpoint in Amodu Awkunana in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. Two persons were feared killed in the attack.
In September, the wife of a leader of a local vigilante operative in Umuopu, Enugu-Ezike, a community in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of the state by gunmen. They also killed three police officers at New Haven, Enugu North Local Government Area of the state days later.

Also in September, members of the Labour Party (LP) who were holding a meeting in Awgu Community, Awgu Local Government Area of the state were attacked by gunmen.
