The campaign against malaria has gained momentum with the endorsement of the Geneith Health Competition by the Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers (APPMED) and the formal entry of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).
APPMED President, Rev. Kubiat Akpan, said the association’s nationwide members will back young ambassadors to take prevention and proper treatment messages to every household. On its part, YABATECH Deputy Registrar, S. S. Akadiri, said the institution will sensitise its students to register, describing the initiative as a blend of academic development, empowerment and public health advocacy.
Organised by CEOAFRICA and sponsored by Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited and powered by Coatal Forte Softgel, with endorsement from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the competition offers a N1 billion package of cash prizes, scholarships and support.
