NDLEA operatives arrested 25-year-old Lovely Chukwulobelu at Enugu Airport on Sept 25 for attempting to traffic 72 wraps of cocaine to Portugal.
The businessman, who wed on Sept 13, ingested the drugs and was caught at the departure hall while boarding an Ethiopian Airlines flight via Addis Ababa. He excreted all 72 wraps under observation and said he trafficked to offset wedding costs.
The Agency also seized 2.55 million opioid pills at Lagos Airport and recorded major busts in Bauchi, Edo, Oyo, and Seme border.
