Nigeria needs a benign dictator as its president in 2023, according to Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN), a former national legal adviser to the All Progressive Congress (APC), the country’s ruling party.
He pointed out that a civilian administration might not be able to adequately and effectively address all of the challenges the country is currently facing.
The eminent attorney claimed that given the level of leadership the country is currently experiencing, Nigeria needs a benign dictator as president.
Banire spoke in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, at the 11th annual symposium of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) B-Zone, with the theme: The Nations Destiny.
Don’t let them choose your leaders based on narrow interests, he warned, or the nation would remain stagnant after the election without credible leadership and effective governance.

Usman Abubakar, the national president of the MSSN, and Qaasim Odedeji, the MSSN B-Zone Coordinator, claimed that the event’s theme was chosen on purpose because the upcoming elections would change the course of the country.
The two alleged that Nigeria is on the verge of disintegrating and warned that unless immediate action is taken to save the nation, the worst is about to occur.
