Ogun State Commissioner of Police CP Bode Ojajuni joined the monthly meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee in Abeokuta, alongside Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations DCP Murtala Bolanle. The engagement, in line with the IGP’s directive on stakeholder partnership, focused on strengthening intelligence sharing, improving public safety coordination, and building trust between the police and communities across the state.
Discussions centered on consolidating existing security collaborations and expanding community-driven strategies for crime prevention and early response. PCRC Chairman Comrade Lawal Abdullahi praised the CP’s personal attendance, noting it was the first time a serving Ogun Commissioner of Police had participated in the monthly engagement. He described it as a strong show of leadership commitment and pledged the PCRC’s continued support for peace and security.
CP Ojajuni thanked members of the PCRC and other stakeholders for their consistent collaboration through intelligence sharing, advocacy, and engagement. He said effective policing depends on partnership and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to intelligence-led, proactive, and people-oriented policing in line with national reforms to protect lives and property.
