Student leaders in Ogun State have sought closer collaboration with the police to improve campus safety.
The SUG, SRC and NAPS executives led by Comrade Opatumobi Boluwatife Joshua visited the Elewe-Eran Police Zone, where they discussed areas of cooperation for protecting students.
DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, who received them, emphasised cordial relationship and proposed a Student Security Summit. The Deputy PRO, E.O. Oluborode, charged the unions to join the Police in educating students against cultism, drug abuse and other social vices.
