Former Public relations officer of Nigeria Police Trust Fund, CSP BISI OKUWOBI, and other members of the ASP Course 21, 2002, have charged members of the public to be part of the reformation of the Police Force embarked upon by the Inspector General of Police, USMAN ALKALI BABA.
The police officers made the call during the 20th anniversary celebration of Cadet ASP Course 21, 2002 held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Lagos at the weekend.
According to the members, there is a serious reformation going on in the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of the current IGP, who they say, is keen on sanitizing the force.
The Chairman of the anniversary planning committee, ACP SANUSI Jidda who corroborated the above statements made by the other members, also appealed to the federal government to introduce digital innovation in policing for officers to be at par with their counterparts across the world.
The two-day anniversary featured peace walk and lectures delivered by renowned speakers from across the country, culminating in a dinner organized by the members to mark the anniversary.
