President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in Shehu Mohammed as chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The exercise took place shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting at the Council Chambers, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The newly-appointed​ RMAFC chairman was duly screened and confirmed by the Nigerian Senate.

Speaking to State House reporters shortly after he was sworn-in, Mr Mohammed promised to​ drive the​ Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission’s commitment.

The President afterwards presided over the weekly FEC meeting, at the same venue.

Physically present at the FEC are Secretary to the Government of the Federation,​ Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari;​ Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed; Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, among others.
