AIG Simeon U. Akpanudom, psc fdc mspsp MNIM, in charge of FCID Annex Lagos, paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Kazeem O. Alogba, at the High Court Complex, Ikeja on Monday, 15 June 2026. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to deepen cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the Judiciary for more effective criminal justice administration.
The AIG noted that the Police and Judiciary have a longstanding partnership that is critical to achieving the Inspector-General of Police’s People-Centric Policing vision. He called for sustained synergy in investigation, prosecution and justice delivery, while reaffirming the Force’s commitment to professionalism, due process, rule of law and protection of human rights in carrying out its constitutional duties.
Justice Alogba received the delegation and commended FCID Annex for its role in investigating crimes and maintaining law and order. He stressed that the Judiciary and Police remain key partners in criminal justice and pledged continued support for initiatives that improve efficiency, including prosecution, court attendance by investigators, capacity building, forensic support, garnishee matters and fundamental rights cases. The visit ended with exchange of plaques and a group photograph, symbolizing the strong working relationship between both institutions.
