Police operatives in Lagos have arrested 24-year-old Lukman Sanni for illegal firearms possession during a stop-and-search operation at Iyana Isashi.
The operatives recovered a locally made pistol, two live cartridges and a suspected charm from him. The suspect is in custody and assisting with investigation to establish the source of the firearm and its intended use.
CP Tijani Fatai said the Command remains committed to combating illegal firearms, arms trafficking and cultism, urging residents to provide timely information on suspicious activities via its emergency lines.
