His Majesty Global School, Ido, Ibadan, Oyo State, has joined the nationwide anti-malaria campaign driven by the Geneith Health Competition (GHC), with ten of its students earning free registration and recognition as malaria ambassadors.

The outreach programme held on Tuesday, 20th October 2026, when the GHC team led by CEOAFRICA Managing Director, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, visited the school to sensitise students on malaria prevention and mobilise them for the competition.

Organised by CEOAFRICA, sponsored by Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited and powered by Coatal Forte Softgel, the competition is designed to equip secondary and tertiary students across Nigeria with the knowledge to protect themselves, families and communities against malaria.

The session featured an interactive question-and-answer engagement on malaria prevention, environmental cleanliness and appropriate treatment. Ten students who distinguished themselves were rewarded with free registration.

They are Olayemi Taiwo, Olayemi Kehinde, Odeniran Covenant and Owolabi Okikijesu (senior class), and Adewale Aishat, Emucha Nehemiah, Adepegba Inioluwa, Abiodun Precious, Akinyemi David and Afolayan Mary (junior class).

President and Proprietor of the school, Dr. Babajide Johnson Ojo, thanked Prince Ilobanafor for extending the initiative to the school, urging students to leverage the opportunity to build health knowledge and future careers. He described the competition as a laudable homegrown solution to Nigeria’s malaria elimination drive.

Principal of the school, Mrs. Kehinde Isaac, in her vote of thanks, commended the organisers and lauded students for their enthusiasm and active participation.

The Geneith Health Competition, targeting students across the 36 states and FCT, continues to build a network of young advocates promoting accurate information and preventive practices in the push for a malaria-free Nigeria.
