Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of FCID Annex Lagos, Simeon U. Akpanudom, attended a workshop organized by the Nigerian Army Women Command at the NASFA Auditorium in Apapa. The event, themed “Repositioning the NAWC for Enhanced Operational Efficiency in Curbing Contemporary Security Threats,” brought together senior military officers and security stakeholders to discuss strategies for strengthening operational capacity against evolving challenges.
During the workshop, NAWC Commander Brig. Gen. MS Adamu presented a commemorative plaque to the AIG in recognition of the Nigeria Police Force’s continued collaboration and support for national security and inter-agency cooperation. AIG Akpanudom commended the initiative, noting that building institutional capacity and fostering synergy among agencies remain critical to tackling Nigeria’s security threats.
The workshop reinforced calls for sustained collaboration between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force in line with IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu’s mission to safeguard lives and property. FCID Annex Lagos said it remains committed to partnering with other security agencies and stakeholders to enhance national security and support economic development.
