To improve the state’s security, the Jigawa State Government has donated five brand new Toyota Hilux vans to the state Police Command.
The Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini, presented the vehicles’ keys to the state Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Saleh Tafida, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of its citizens.
According to Fanini, the current administration is committed to providing whatever assistance is needed to security formations in order to keep the state safe and secure.

According to him, the state has been dubbed one of the most peaceful in the country.
The SSG stated that the state government, led by Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, will do everything in its power to protect citizens’ lives.
CP Aliyu Saleh Tafida, the Commissioner of Police, praised the state government for the gesture and promised that the vehicles would be put to good use.
