The Cleen Foundation has held a training program in Kaduna State, for women to empower them with digital skills for mediation.

The five day training session organized by the Cleen Foundation in partnership with UN WOMEN and the Norwegian Embassy, focused on women to help equip them with the necessary knowledge and tools, so as to hone their skills to sow the seeds for positive change that will impact far and wide in the society.

The Train- the-Trainer session aims at broadening the scope of women’s mediation, as a bridge to cover the gender gap and sharing collective experiences to increase expertise for women in the digital sphere.

The participants are expected to delve into effective means of conflict resolution in their communities using enhanced technological solutions for the purpose, so as to empower them in an all inclusive environment.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Mr.Gad Peter, Executive Director, CLEEN Foundation represented by Mrs Justina Johnson said that the program was to empower women and give them the relevant knowledge to be apt problem solvers in a modern society and put them at par with their counterparts in a male dominated sector.
