A broadband coalition of non-governmental organisations involved in cases of rape and sexual abuse have asked the Nigeria Police Force and the Lagos State domestic and sexual violence response team to do more in protecting children from sexual abuse and sexual violators.
Speaking at press conference held in Lagos to press home its demands concerning a popular Nigerian medical practitioner and cancer Care advocate, Femi Olaleye, Barrister Adeshina OGUNLANA, Barrister Toyin Ndidi-Ojo and others mentioned that the alleged predator was accused of harassing a niece of his wife for one year and nine months and also threatening to deal with his wife over the issue.
Dr Olaleye who reports say has been arrested by the police in Lagos, however, could not be reached for his stance as he did not pick calls or reply messages sent to him.
