The executive arm of Njiko Ndi Anioma and Ofuobi group yesterday gathered at the Murtala Mohammed International Cargo Village, Hajj Camp, Lagos State, on the 12th of July, 2023, to present the letter of appointment to the Patron elect of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo in Delta State.
The event which was started with prayers and the introductory speech by Honourable Dan Ejiofor, head of Njiko Anioma’s media team. The President of the union, Obuzor Chuks Smith, gave a lecture on the purpose of Anioma in the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo and the position of Anioma in the society. He emphasized on the need for unification and solidarity by the Igbo nation.
The Patron elect of Ohaneze, Mr. Ben Davies Chukwuye, was presented his letter of appointment to the admiration of all members of Ofuobi, colleagues and well wishers at the grounds. He thanked the people and expressed his heartfelt gratitude in his acceptance speech. He promised to live up to the status and make the unification and solidarity of Anioma in Ohanaeze, a key objective.
The woman leader of Njiko Ndi Anioma, Mrs Patricia Agboje, also thanked the groups for their encouraging turn out.
Also turned out at the presentation, were the executives of Njiko Ndi Anioma, the state woman leader Mrs. Chizie Ogboli, the assistant treasurer Mrs Sandy Okolie, welfare officer Miss Isioma Usifor, deputy youth leader and youth leader King Phillip.
Guests were feted to traditional entertainment and photo sessions.
Honourable Ejiofor thanked the Ofuobi Chairman Mr. Tony Ujomu and all the members of Ofuobi for hosting the Anioma community.
