ABEOKUTA — The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, has directed detectives to launch an immediate manhunt for one Mr. Kola following allegations of sexual molestation. The case was reported at Adigbe Police Division on Monday, 8th September 2026 at about 5:00pm by a 17-year-old boy who was accompanied by his parents.
The teenager told police that Kola assaulted him on three separate occasions in January 2026 and threatened him to remain silent. After the report was lodged, he was taken to a hospital in the Adigbe area for medical examination while investigators began work on the case. The Command stated that the incident only came to its notice following the formal complaint on 8th September.
CP Ojajuni has ordered a full-scale search for the suspect, who is currently on the run, and directed officers to ensure his arrest. The Command assured members of the public that the matter is being handled with urgency, professionalism and sensitivity, and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting children and vulnerable persons across Ogun State.
