The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, received a delegation from the Nigeria Police Shooting Association (NPSA) at the Command Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta. Led by NPSA Vice Chairman SP Theresa Ogboi and Staff Officer SP Anderson Rabiat, the team congratulated him on his new posting and reaffirmed their support for his leadership.
Ojajuni was praised for his track record in promoting shooting sports during his tenure in Lagos State Command, where he held several leadership roles within the NPSA. The delegation noted that his efforts had helped advance the sport and strengthen professionalism across the Force. They also commended his dedication to personnel development and operational excellence.
Responding, CP Ojajuni said shooting sports play a vital role in building concentration, discipline, and tactical accuracy among officers. He encouraged continuous training and active participation to boost confidence and operational readiness. Senior officers present, including DCPs Bolanle Muritala, Ibrahim Abdul, and Gbenga Adeoye, backed the call for ongoing skill development. The Command, Ojajuni added, remains committed to supporting initiatives that raise professionalism and capacity within the Nigeria Police Force. The visit closed with a group photo and interactive session.
