Eight children found dead in a Lexus SUV parked in front of the owner’s home on Adelayo Street in Agunaje, Lagos, along the Badagry Expressway.

On Saturday, the incident occurred.

The event was confirmed by Adekunle Ajisebutu, a police spokesperson in Lagos.

“While playing, the eight children were claimed to have locked themselves in an abandoned automobile.”

Mr. Ajisebutu stated, “Their remains have been recovered and lodged at the Badagry General Hospital’s morgue for autopsy in order to identify the real cause of death.”

The automobile, according to accounts, belongs to Saliat Kazeem, who parked it in front of her home.

According to reports, the vehicle has a child lock mechanism that can only be unlocked from the outside.

A mom searching for her ward discovered the youngsters, who were between the ages of four and six, dead.

Mr. Ajisebutu, a police chief superintendent, claimed that the police commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered a thorough and prompt investigation into the Eight Children Found Dead

Mr. Odumosu expressed his condolences to the victims’ families and assured them of a thorough inquiry.
