The State Police Command has released Uche Nwosu, the son-in-law of former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha.

This was stated in a statement issued on Monday by Nwadike Chikezie, Nwosu’s Special Adviser, Media.

The Nigerian Police Force arrested the politician during a church service at St Peter’s Anglican Church Umunwokwe Village Eziama-Obaire Nkwerre LGA in Imo State, according to Ripples Nigeria.
Chikezie stated in the statement that he spoke with Nwosu, who reassured the residents of his well-being.

“While we await the police report on the reason for the abduction and arrest, we urge everyone to remain calm and focused because God is in control of the entire situation.”

“We all know that desecrating God’s House is a direct affront and challenge to God Almighty.” We leave God to fight his battle because vengeance belongs to God, but does this mean that the government no longer respects God and that the House of God is no longer a safe haven for Christians? “God proves your answers,” says the statement.
