Honourable Kevin Okwechime, the chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area in Delta State, has used great strides in improving the quality of life and living for the people both indigenes and residents within the local government area.
Okwechime, has long been an advocate for development, empowerment and quality lifestyle for his people because his passion for humanity runs deep and as a representative of the people, what better way to effect these goals than to get it done while on seat.
A firm believer in community growth, he has made several partnerships to bolster the economic and revenue generation within the local government by equipping the skills acquisition centre with the right tools and equipment that will train, enhance and increase manpower development through livestock and agriculture. This is because there is an availability of these in the area and it pays better to work with available resources.
With the youths being empowered through this platform, welding, ICT training, catering, plumbing, masonry and mobile telephony services, the reduction of migration of youths has greatly reduced and there is more positive input from them in the communities under ANIOCHA NORTH LOCAL GOVT.
With the level of development going on all around communities in ANIOCHA NORTH, more industries are growing and there is more room to attract potential investors that will bring high revenue to the people through empowerment and employment.
Indeed, with the level of improvement within the 18 communities in the local government, there is definitely going to be more to come with Honourable Okwechime being in continuity in the affairs of the local government.
It is only a people oriented man with the best interest of his community that will carry on with projects such as the renovation of the cottage hospital, provision of toilets within the markets, the skills acquisition centre and also putting not just school leavers and graduates as beneficiaries but also vulnerable persons, people living with disabilities and retirees.
