A total of 1, 910 criminals which include terrorists, armed bandits, robbers and kidnappers across the country were neutralized by the Armed forces of Nigeria, between 20th May 2021 to January 6 2022.
Acting Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Bernard Onyeuko, revealed this to newsmen in Abuja, during a press briefing on Military operations across the country.
Also within the period under review a total of 912 criminal elements were arrested with the recovery of arms ammunition of assorted mix.
Additionally, 38,582 barrels and six million, four hundred and ninety-one thousand litres of stolen crude oil as well as eleven million, six hundred and fifty-nine thousand, five hundred litres of illegally refined Premium Motor Spirit were recovered and handed appropriately.
The Military High Command also commended the gallant troops and personel of other security agencies for their commitment in ensuring peace and tranquility in the country.
