Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested Odeshola Afeez, 22, a suspected notorious cultist and armed robber, after residents raised an alarm over harassment and panic in the community. Responding swiftly to the distress call, police moved in and apprehended the suspect. A search uncovered a locally fabricated pistol, one cartridge, and concealed charms in his possession.
Investigators say Afeez had been on the run and was allegedly involved in activities terrorizing residents and disrupting public peace. The recovery and arrest followed credible information provided by members of the public, which led officers directly to the scene.
