ABUJA — Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, Managing Director and CEO of CEOAFRICA and founder of the Geneith Health Competition, has been honoured with the Peace & Enterprise Ambassadorial Award by the Inter-Religious Youth Affairs for Peace and Unity, IRYAPU. The presentation took place at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, with business leaders, civil society groups and youth advocates in attendance.
IRYAPU said the award recognizes Ilobanafor’s impact in youth empowerment, job creation, public health advocacy and peacebuilding. National Coordinator Amb. Muhammad Taofeeq noted the honour is merit-based and tied to measurable contributions to society and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Chief Emmanuel Umenwa, Chairman of Geneith Pharmaceuticals and sponsor of GHC, praised his visionary leadership, while GHC Coordinator Pharm. Blessing Ghensel described him as “a gift to humanity” for building platforms that promote unity, creativity and positive social values.
Accepting the award, Ilobanafor dedicated it to young Nigerians committed to innovation and nation-building. He called on youths to enlist in the Geneith Health Competition as malaria ambassadors and stressed that sustainable development requires peace, cross-faith cooperation and enterprise. He also cautioned against exploiting young people through religion and politics, and urged stakeholders to support initiatives that advance youth empowerment, social harmony and public health. “Together, we can build a Nigeria where peace, good health and opportunity thrive for all,” he said.
